Top 100 Places to Work

For the second straight year, McKinney-based Independent Bank Group earned a spot among the Dallas Morning News' "Top 100 Places to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth." The 2012 edition placed Independent Bank among the top midsized companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Rankings for the Dallas Morning News' Top 100 Places to Work list are determined by the results of an anonymous internal survey conducted at Dallas-Fort Worth area companies by an independent survey company. Recognition in the Top 100 Places to Work list is earned through the opinion of employees and not an outside voting body, which makes the honor extra special to David Brooks, Chairman/CEO of Independent Bank.

"It is always an honor when someone takes notice of the work we do at Independent Bank," Brooks said. "But when recognition comes from within the Independent Bank family, whether from a loyal customer or one of our many dedicated employees, it is truly significant."

The results of the Top 100 survey indicate that Independent Bank employees are happy with the direction of the bank, have confidence in its leadership, and appreciate its strong corporate and ethical values.

"To foster these relationships, creating an environment where employees feel appreciated on a daily basis is essential.
